Many people may end up noticing rough patches over their skin that to others may be a bit concerning. Although the dry skin isn't much of a pretty sight, it definitely isn't anything to be too concerned over; and can be taken care of with a few persistent tips and tricks.

Your Shower Temperature:


Many people enjoy the soothing feel of a steamy shower, but that doesn't mean that it is good for things like our skin, especially if you already have trouble with dry skin.

When you take a shower, set your temperature to warm instead of hot. The steam that comes from hot showers can be a significant cause of drying out your skin. It is also best to limit the time in your showers around five to ten minute tops; you should also be sure to close your bathroom door beforehand to keep in the warmth and not allow cold air to trickle in.

After your shower is finished, remember to pat yourself down gently with a towel; try not to rub or dry yourself off with harsh motions.
