"Veruca Salt's songs aren't simple hard-rock sing-alongs. The music bends typical verse-chorus-verse form, and the lyrics explore conflicts between acting nice and letting go." - New York Times

Veruca Salt release their fourth and latest full-length album, the aptly named "Veruca Salt IV," on Sympathy For The Record Industry Records, marking their triumphant return. Six years after the release of Resolver, Louise Post and Stephen Fitzpatrick have been joined by bassist Nicole Fiorentino (Radio Vago), and rejoined by drummer Kellii Scott (Failure, Blinker the Star, Enemy), to create the fourth and latest full length Veruca Salt album.

Veruca Salt IV is a collection of 14 tracks that mark a new era for the band. The record returns with the same signature crushing guitars while offering new depths of sound and lyrical content. Frontwoman Louise Post is delighted to have joined forces with Sympathy for the Record Industry for the bands long- awaited fourth album. "I feel right at home with Sympathy," she says. "It is the perfect place for us at the perfect time and we are so excited to release our cherished album to the public". Fortunately for the fans and critics alike, Veruca Salt embark on a U.S. tour to showcase the mastery of VS IV to all who are willing to listen!

Produced by Rae DiLeo (Filter, Army of Anyone), Veruca Salt IV features the classic heavy guitar thunder, pop sensibility, and soul-wrenching lyrics of previous Veruca Salt efforts, coupled with the stirring musical maturation of Louise Post and Co. Songs written and performed live to worldwide acclaim over the past six years (such as "Blissful Queen," "Save You," and "The Sun") have been combined with powerful new material, and the resulting effort promises to deliver.

IV will also be available on vinyl as a limited edition run of 1,000 copies.
