Quango Music Group act Bitter:Sweet has secured the opening main title theme song for the new NBC hit series, Lipstick Jungle. The theme was adapted from a new unreleased recording titled "The Bomb" which will be featured on their upcoming release, Drama.

Based on the best-selling book by Candace Bushnell (Sex and the City), Lipstick Jungle is a sexy new drama starring Brooke Shields that follows three high-powered New York friends as they weather the ups and downs of lives lived at the top of their game.

Bitter:Sweet features producer and multi-instrumentalist Kiran Shahani (formerly of Supreme Beings of Leisure) and musician and songstress Shana Halligan. Shana also has roots in music - her father is a legendary composer and founding member of Blood, Sweat & Tears. The dynamic trip-hop duo released their full length self-produced debut album The Mating Game in 2006. Filled with infectious and sultry songs, the album caught the ear of many music supervisors landing the band placements in commercials for Victoria's Secret and Korbel, movies including The Devil Wears Prada and Shoot 'Em Up along with placements in many TV shows including Grey's Anatomy, Nip-Tuck, Brothers and Sisters, Entourage, Friday Night Lights and many more. The band are also favorites of Southern California based NPR affiliate KCRW. Their image is currently featured in a billboard campaign around the Los Angeles area. Starbucks Coffee Company also showed support by choosing them as a featured artist for their highly sought after free download promotion. Bitter:Sweet, managed by Amp Management/Fanscape, are currently finishing up their sophomore effort Drama due out this summer.

Lipstick Jungle airs Thursdays on NBC at 10/9c.
