Country superstar Trace Adkins kicked off his Honky Tonk Badonkadonk Tour over the weekend to a sold-out crowd in Burlington, Iowa. He continued to wow packed houses throughout the weekend with stops in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and Waterloo, Iowa. This week, Adkins will make another sold-out performance when his tour rolls into Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, January 26.

The tour, which also features alternating opening acts Josh Gracin and Craig Morgan, was inspired by Adkins' current single by the same name. "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" is from Adkins' latest Platinum certified CD, Songs About Me (click for review), and has become his fastest rising single to date. The song presently sits at No 2 on Billboard's Country Singles Chart and the video remains in high rotation on both CMT and GAC.

Now even more fans will have a chance to shake their 'badonkadonks' with Adkins as nineteen new dates have been added to the tour is calling one of the Top 10 tours to catch in 2006.

In addition to previously announced dates in South Bend, IN, Asheville, NC, Wheeling, WV and Kelseyville, CA, new dates will include stops in Salem, VA, Panama City, FL, Seattle, WA and Thousand Oaks, CA.
