'Tintin' Fan Lands Job With Steven Spielberg
An enterprising Tintin fan has been handed the job of a lifetime by Steven Spielberg after impressing the moviemaker with his inspirational take on the opening credits for the director's new film.
James Curran posted his idea for an animated opening sequence for Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin online and the mogul saw it.
Impressed, Spielberg invited Curran to the U.K. premiere of the film on Sunday - and then offered him a job on his next movie.
The Adventures of Tintin screenwriter Edgar Wright tweeted the news during the premiere and sources close to the director claim he will work with Curran on Robopocalypse.
