One would think that only dating a month before tying the knot could be a factor in the length of a marriage. How about the fact that the husband works away from home for eight months out of the year? Wrong. According to PopEater, Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian's marriage is already doomed due to their Reality TV lifestyle.

PopEater's first mark against the Odom-Kardashian pairing? "Danger sign number one is that Khloe and Lamar have already let the whirlwind of reality romance take precedence over their relationship. The pair reportedly rushed to the altar in order to stay on the demanding shooting schedule for E!'s 'Keeping up With the Kardashian's' where the wedding will air at a later date -- most likely to astronomical ratings"

After surveying several entertainment experts, the answer becomes clear once one looks at past public relationships.

"Most reality television marriages are formed under false conditions with six-week production schedules and are usually based solely on immediate lust." said Life & Style Executive Editor Jared Shapiro to PopEater. "Once the couple gets home the REAL reality sets in. Plus, once you are off the show, people stop caring about you. Reality stars often have a really hard time dealing with the loss of fame."

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro. Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler. Jon and Kate Gosselin. Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. The list goes on, and one factor remains: a reality TV show. Either the pair was doing great until the show started (the Gosselins), or it fell apart once the show ended (Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro).
