Lauren Weisberger has announced she is penning a sequel to her bestselling book "The Devil Wears Prada." The sequel titled, "Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns," will continue the adventures of former assistant Andy Sachs, who is now a bridal magazine editor.

"I'm thrilled to be once more encountering the world of glossy mags, Miranda Priestly and our favorite heroine, with a novel set to be one of the big summer reads of 2013," said Harper Fiction publishing director Lynne Drew.

The story will be set eight years after the first book and besides Andy being editor, her once rival Emily is now her best friend and works beside her.

"The Devil Wears Prada" was on the New York Times Best seller list for more than a year following its release. In 2006 it was adopted into film starring Anne Hathaway who played the aspiring journalist Andy. Her rival Emily was played by Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep played her overbearing boss Miranda. Streep was nominated for an Oscar for her role, which was considered to be a fictional version of Vogue editor Anna Wintour where the author Weisberger worked as an assistant.

Movie plans have not been announced but considering that is grossed more than 300 million dollars, it's a sure bet Hollywood will make this happen.
