"Sharknado" star Tara Reid shared a few bikini selfies on her twitter page over the weekend, revealing a lot of skin and a lot of carbon on her ring finger!

The 38-year-old actress sported a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger and captioned the shot, "I'm so in love!" Naturally that led to speculation that the actress had gotten engaged, but she cleared things up in a later post.

"I'm not engaged its costume from my new movie," she wrote.

Whatever the truth is, Tara's love-life has been a mess for the last few years. In early 2010 she had gotten engaged to German boyfriend Michael Axtmann, but the couple called things off just three months later and ended their relationship. She began dating Michael Lillelund, a Danish businessman, later that year and were reportedly married in Greece the following August. Lillelund denied it and said they had split up long before.

Things got even stranger when she announced her engagement and marriage to Bulgarian financier Zachary Kehayov the day after her publicist made the announcement that she and Lillelund wed.

Two months later the couple announced that their marriage was not legally binding.

Last month the actress explained that she took on a lead role in SyFy channel's instant cult classic "Sharknado" as a joke, and that she didn't think the film would get so much attention. Tara says she also didn't expect the film to be so successful and was "stunned" by the way news about the campy schlock-fest went viral on the internet before it's premiere and boosted the amount of viewership.

Tara stars in the movie's sequel, which is currently in the works.
