Sylvester Stallone Signs On For Fifth 'Rambo'
Whoever said 67 is too old to star in an action franchise hasn't met Sylvester Stallone. The actor has signed on to work on the fifth installment of "Rambo."
The star also appears to be writing the script for the film, which centers on one-man army John Rambo.
German movie company Splendid Films said in a statement: "With Rambo V, Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time he goes up against a Mexican cartel. Stallone... describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country for Old Men."
The first film in the franchise, "First Blood," hit theaters in 1982. The last film,"Rambo," premiered in 2008.
Meanwhile, Stallone hits the big screen in August in "The Expendables 3."
