Definitely Fall Out Boy. They're actually not bad, I heard one of their albums (their last one I believe). Better musicians and songwriters than I thought, lots of irony in the lyrics.
My Chemical Romance on the other hand, are a bunch of screamy whiney biatches who promote suicidal tendencies.

For those of you who are misinformed, Fall Out Boy is not an "emo" band.
My boy dances to "This Ain't A Scene" when I play it on Rock Band. So far it's like the only song he stops whatever he's doing to listen to.

I dont like either much, but Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is a decent album so Ill say MCR, even though the Black Parade is a boring wannabe version of Pink Floyd's The Wall.

First of all, I'd like to say that I love both My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy a great deal. In my opinion (and I note, opinion; if a band is good or not is only your opinion), both are amazing at what they do. And what they do, are two different things. (Why are we comparing them?)

Next, I feel the need to point out Fall out Boy and My Chemical Romance are friends. Mikey Way has been quoted talking about e-mail conversations between him and Pete Wentz, and if you remember Fall Out Boy said that My Chemical Romance should have won. Remember that as you respond, please.

Agent Smith, please get over yourself. While i respect your opinion of choosing Fall Out Boy (as stated, I love them as a band), you are being rather ignorant. Promotes suicide? You really don't have proof, you don't even have anything that could imply. We as My Chemical Romance fans are inspired, strengthened, by their music. A lot of us have been through harder spots in our lives (as we all have), and the music helps us with that. Just as other music may help others.

Now, for my answer, I choose both. Simple and plain, nothing debatable.I love both bands with all my heart.

Fall out boy used to be my favourite band but a year from february i have been completely obbsessed with MCR! I used to love fall out boy but i got to admit fall out boy are nothing compared to my chemical romance. A few main main reasons:
1) My chemical romance sing and play with so much emotion in their music.
2) MCR care more about their fans.
3) MCR are more talented.
4) MCR earned becoming so well known if anyone has watched their bullets DVD about how they became famous your agree.
5) MCR are more unique
6) To put it bluntly their music is better.
So...my chemical romance all the way!
But FOB arent a bad band, you just cant beat MCR though.
