Putting Moonlight and Twilight fans in the same "boat" as fans of a graphic sexual/violent vampire story is not very realistic. True fans of the vampire genre will probably enjoy them all, but as the member of a large family where everyone has read and loves the Twilight series and are total fans of Moonlight, we will not be watching True Blood. We are fans of the Twilight books, upcoming movie, and the tv show Moonlight because they are stories of love, loyalty, truth, friendship and all that is good in life. With the sensual love story with a super hero twist, the incredible cast and the fact they are pure CLASS, they don't need graphic sex and violence to SIZZLE.

Fans of Moonlight are still devastated. We miss our show terribly and are still stunned that our outspoken loyalty was not valued by any of the powers that be involved with the show. I do wish the new show well, though I did not appreciate the way that Alan Ball also dismissed Moonlight fans a month or so ago. We loved Moonlight and worked to save it, to heap praise upon those who created it, to support its actors and writers, and to benefit our communities through show-oriented blood- and charity-drives. I hope Mr. Ball is able to find similar fans to support his latest effort. I watched 6 Feet Under but am less interested in True Blood. I'm still mourning Mick, and this new vamp lacks Mick's charm, from the commercials I have seen. Good luck tho.
