Anthony c'mon. The H.E.A.T. inspired bank robbery was a really weak opening. William Fichtner in that scene is a prime example of bit characters bringing down the level of acting Ledger and others brought to the film

I saw it with 7 other people at the IMAX. We all agreed it was a perfect opening, and one of the best character entrances in recent memory.
The film is a masterpiece. It is a shame there are a few people that don't see that.
I am seeing it for the 3rd time in a few days, I can't wait!

Don't get me wrong, I love the movie and will see it many more times in the theaters. There are some amazing parts, but the whole is a bit lacking.

Well in my opinion it is not a good movie for kids to watch it is too violent and kids act out what they see on tv these day. I have a little cousin that watched the Incredable Hulk and was going around and hit kids with plywood boards because he thought he was the Incredable Hulk. So children do act out what they see on tv. I have seen The Dark Knight on a trailor and i don't like it because it is too violent and children do memic what they see. I don't advise children to watch this movie. Sorry but that's the way i feel!

The movie was good but not great. All I can say is I loved Heath Ledger playing the joker. He played that role so good that I now have nightmares about him!

Beth- learn how to use the spell check. Basically your point is that kids will do what they see? Yeah, maybe if they are insane.
lovetheweasel - It was a busy film for those who usually watch films like Date Movie or Pearl Harbor.
Dan - You hate M. Night, you love Dancing with the stars, Greys Anatomy, and watch enough Mad TV to make a top 10 list of actors from the show. Credibility=garbage.

Personally, I enjoyed the movie, but it was far from the greatest movie ever. I felt the Harvey Dent angle was a bit forced and felt a bit rushed. I actually enjoyed the opening scene, but I feel a bit let down by the ending. But I wholeheartedly enjoyed Heath Ledger's performance. I look forward to seeing it again.
