Acting wise how could you forget about Cate Blachett and Simon Baker is doing well, some others Rose Bryne and Jesse Spencer,
Music: Silverchair, Powderfinger, Jet and Wolfmother, you should check out Gabrella Cilmi who is only 16 and has a huge hit here in Oz and England with "nothing sweet about me".....BTW Michael Johns is very hot!

Almightyisis - I had never heard of Alex O'Loughlin. I'll check him out.
Hellebelle - Good call on Cate, she's fantastic. But, I didn't know she was an Aussie! She doesn't have such a pronounced accent, and she's done other accents for movies. I do like Simon Baker, and I had Jesse Spencer and some of those bands on my list, but you should've seen how long this article was when I started it! I had to cut a lot out, including my beloved Crowded House (half Aussie/half Kiwi).

Oh yes BeckEye, you MUST check out the gorgeous and talented Alex O'Loughlin (used to go by O'Lachlan). He was voted one of TV Guide's Sexiest Stars and was recently the lead in the now cancelled CBS series Moonlight (through no fault of his own!). CBS loves him and wants him back for something, in fact CBS Chief Nina Tassler has even said she was smitten the first time she met him! He's done films too, was most recently in August Rush and will be in Whiteout with Kate Beckinsale. Anyway, I mentioned that he's GORGEOUS right! LOL
