Good article, but you're a bit off on the Clone Wars.
The movie will top the box office and prove to you that
the fans of the franchise do indeed want more Star Wars.
The Clone Wars cartoons they did a few years back were really good, and this promises to be even better. I'm betting that this is also going to hit DVD right before the series kicks off, so those who didn't see it in the theater can see it and keep up. The show is going to do well also.
As a fan I would consider this film to be "gravy." I'm looking forward to taking my nephews to see this.
The people who diss the new trilogy are the ones who grew up too much and fail to see that they're just as much kids films as the originals and now you look at them from an adult's point of view. Every kid I know loves all three.
I don't know if you noticed, but it's not like Mark Hamill or Carrie Fisher got a ton of work after exhibiting his acting chops in the OT.
Aaaand, there just happens to be something coming out this fall that WILL bridge the gap between trilogies-- it's The Force Unleashed video game where you play Vader's 'secret apprentice' and help him hunt down and kill the remaining Jedi who survived after Ep. III.
I believe the live action show will be following this course as well, and I'd much rather see this era covered in live action than animation. So that's another knock you've got against you.

I love the Mummy shows, and lots of people go to see these shows and like them.It is all a matter of opinion. There are so many different people in the world with different likes and dislikes, so don't bunch us all together!

The only one's that might be good is The Mummy and The day the Earth stood still. The rest are lame.
