Actually, "All in the Family" is one of my favorite shows. A case could be made for Edith. She was an interesting character, but I don't think she was as memorable as the wives I listed. Archie made that show, so much so that everyone else almost became secondary, two bit characters. Edith didn't have as much depth nor spice to make her, in my mind, as memorable as the wives I listed.
In truth, it's a list that could go on forever but no one wants to read a top 50 countdown. So I stand behind my list.

Jee Huxie90 why are your panties in a wad over Edith, It's Mike's list, not reason to yell at the guy.

I definitely considered Lois Griffin, who I also think is worthy of this list. I also thought Lois from Malcolm in the Middle was worthy along with Debra from Everybody Loves Raymond.
Again, it's a list that could be infinitely long, but at some point it has to be trimmed down to a handful of memorable women.

If I added anyone, it would be Lucille Ball from I Love Lucy. Then again, the show was actually about her and not her husband.
I loved the Cosby reference and the clip they added for it. Great moment in time!
