Not that any of the sequels mentioned in the article were at all probable, but I'm curious to know how a sequel to Blow might work out. Not that seeing Johnny Depp walking around being a crazy old man in federal prison doesn't sound exciting. In fact it'd make for a fascinating character study.

"strangely conscious of national borders"
So the guys in Scotland tracking the weather patterns just died from being snowed in? And those places they named, like "Spain" are just places on the US map?

I found your article totally engaging and entertaining. How about "Remo Williams II"? Anybody remember that?

"So the guys in Scotland tracking the weather patterns just died from being snowed in? And those places they named, like "Spain" are just places on the US map?"
Hmm...if I recall the movie correctly--and I usually make a point not to--the "border" of concern in the movie was the US-Mexico border, which the wrath of mother nature was curiously cognizant of (clearly this was a derived plot device for the writer/director to make an obvious political statement about immigration, and this, most likely, is what the article was referring to, but your reply was funny too. Spain in the US, what a joker. Don't let me rain on your parade).
Other disaster movies that need sequels:
Waterworld
The Core
Volcano
An Inconvenient Truth...

These are all good ones, also there should be a Rocky at 70 where he fights a Kangaroo who has insulted him. The final movie for Rocky should be Rocky at 100, where a Gorrila starts carrying his wife off and Rocky yells "sorry I can't help its the law of the jungle"

I've always thought a sequel to The Day After Tomorrow would be a good idea!
However, a sequel to Titanic would suck, if you ask me. It was a classic and you definatly cannot replace that one.

A few months ago, Starpulse did one news thing talking about the worst Disney movies, and they said that #1 worst was all Disney sequels because REALLY good movies didn't need sequels, so why the heck are they doing this?!

How about Mr Brooks 2 with Kevin Costner.
Derailed 2 Jennifer Aniston comes back from the dead and seduces more married men.
