Holly Hunter To Be Honored With A Hollywood Star

Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter will be honored on Friday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 50-year-old will unveil her star in a ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard to mark her long career as a movie and TV actress.

Hollywood Stars are actually not "awarded" or "earned" at all, they're simply purchased. Apparently she's decided that meaningless honors aren't worth the time and money.
