Great article! Jerry said the best apple pie in the city was at Monk's...
Nitpick: While numerous Monk's employees and proprietors were shown in 'Seinfeld,' I don't think there ever officially was a character acknowledges as Monk himself.

@Tom Sizemore: you are correct sir. I just assume with the authority he had that it was Monk himself.
-
@pinkcar456: it loses points because I do not personally know anyone who "only" meet at one and only coffee shop. I do know people who meet at one and only one bar though.

What no Luke's Diner?
My favorites are Luke's Diner, Peach Pit, The Max and Mac Laren's.
just for fun you should have included Jake McFarland's fake cafe that he had outside his apartment."Jack's"- which he made sound French

Though it lacks the character and atmosphere of many of those mentioned, I'm going to go with Ten Forward from the Starship Enterprise. Sure can't beat the view out the window! But, MikeR...The Maxx from Saved by the Bell?! What are you, in high school? C'mon, man, time to start hanging out with the grownups. OK, let me have it about what a Star Trek dork I am.

What do you think about "Reggie's," the diner that Terry Farrell's character "Reggie Kostas" manages on Ted Danson's 'Becker?'That was a favorite fictional hangout for Saverio Guerra's "Bob" and Alex D'esert's blind "Jake Malinak" and, sometimes, Hattie Winston's "Margaret" and Shawnee Smith's dipsey but sympathetic "Linda."

@springsteenfan: It crossed my mind but it would have been a little too much Ted Dansen. If that's possible.
