Worst- You have to add The Avengers here. A cool 1960's TV British TV show, that had real potential (even with modernization) to be a great movie. Ralph Fiennes as Steed and Uma Thurman as Mrs. Peel- not my ideal choices. Even Sir Sean Connery was at at the losing end of a terrible plot.

what about the batmans'? do they not count because of the comic origins? (batman begins and the to-be dark knight excluded) the first micheal keaton was tolerable and after that? GEORGE CLOONEY? come on. ALICIA SILVERSTONE? KILL ME NOW!

Well, being the sci-fi guy I am, I couldn't agree more with your inclusion of Serenity. An absolutely great TV show (Firefly) that ended WAY too soon turned into an absolutely great movie. I'd also add the Star Trek phenomenon. And though it was based on only one TV special, I'd make Jim Carrey's Grinch my third choice. Worst? I actually was really disappointed in Lost In Space, in part because I adore Heather Graham. Yeah, I couldn't even finish watching The Dukes of Hazzard. And though I haven't seen it, I'll add Sex & the City cause you just couldn't pay me to watch that crap.
