Pearl harbor was so inaccurate it was almost funny. Some of these choices leave a bit to be desired. "Platoon" portrays the men that fought in Vietnam as a bunch of dope smoking self destructive imbreds and cowards. I must disagree.

RalphSchmalph, I forgot to add "The Best of Our Lives" as well. The others you mentioned are good as well, but I have seen only the one I missed earlier and "Saving Private Ryan" in your list.
