No Costner = no movie imo.
They're just going to make sequels to everything now, aren't they?
Can't wait for "Atonement II" or how about "Reservoir Dogs II" or "Casablanca Part Deux"

Not surprising, since the book was written while the author was living in Viggo's house, the book is dedicated to Exene Cervenka (his ex-wife), and the role was originally written for Viggo. I tend to agree with Guy, though. No Costner, no movie. And even if it does get made, I would be surprised if Viggo took the role. Sloppy seconds? Thanks, but no thanks. Viggo would be awesome, of course, but IMO, not likely.

How could anyone possibly think that Kevin Costner could be replaced in such a magnificent role? No one could do justice to Dunbar's character better than Kevin Costner. Making a sequel will destroy the drama and impact of the first film. A story this powerful and touching needs no further embelishment.

vego might be good in the role- but I still think kevin should rethink and do it he hasn't been in a good film in over 12 years and this movie would restart his career-he needs a comeback real bad!
