I understand Tom's comments and I appreciate his ability to reflect and appolgise. Good on you that is a brave man that can do that.
However I do believe there are many things that can be done to help mums in difficult patches of thier lives.
A truely loving and supporting husband if the first step.

The only reason he did do a public appology was to save his career, his religion has overtaken him and is into his cult more than anyone knows. The man was cornered with his remarks and he was not working and did in fact was released from his contract from the studios. I think Tom is on borrowed time for failure and will be one of the past. He will expose himself again with the cult even more in the near future when he is very comfortable with himself and his cult views and this will turn the people away from him. He is not a god, only a man that works in the studios & film industry. He is not a leader of the people only in his cult of religion. He meant and did believe what he said when he said it in public, remember his remark
he said it in public and should not have and kept his views to himself. What are his views really, now he is covering them for public sake.

I'm quite surprised that he's let smarter people make him change his mind, change his ways. But not until he cuts loose from their little church groupie does he actually get anywhere. When did Tom Cruise get his medical license? When did he take time off from starring in films to research postpartum depression? He is not a WOMAN and has no clue what women go through during and after pregnancy. Everyone is different and some women have postpartum depression and some don't. It is a form of depression which is a brain disease. Do you suggest Dr. Cruise that people with heart disease not take their Plavix?
