Oooh... Sharon Stone would have been another good inclusion in the "Honorable Mentions" section. I believe she just turned 50 recently -- makes 50 look pretty good, huh?

Sharon Stone is a nasty hag and she hasn't been in anything worth while in years (or anything worthwhile at all?)

Sharon Stone's had her share of projects (among others: the upcoming "Dirty Tricks" with Brad Pitt and Annette Bening, and more recently "Bobby" and "The Year of Getting to Know Us," which premiered at Sundance). If you're referring to her "Basic Instinct" persona, then, you got me -- that role was hardly her best and definitely not near the caliber of work done by these other actors.

"Bobby" was a pretty famous movie with a big cast of stars (including Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan, Helen Hunt, Nick Cannon, Laurence Fishburne, etc.); as I said, "The Year of Getting To Know Us" premiered at Sundance (so you might not have heard of that one); also as I mentioned, "Dirty Tricks" hasn't come out yet, but should be big given its cast; and "Basic Instinct" is pretty easily Sharon Stone's most famous role. Hope that clears it all up! :)

Great list! =D
=O Robert Duvall was Boo Radley in that movie? I had NO idea...
Like Robert Duvall, Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, and Jack Nicholson. Clint Eastwoo'd OK, too.
and I must say that for as old as she is, Julie Andrews looks fantastic. =)

Sure wish I could think of more women who are golden oldies and are still working in Hollywood... Maybe there'll be more mature women in hollywood in about 10 years. Seems like there is a larger group of the 50-60 range now than in the past and hopefully, as they age, they'll keep move that notch up a bit. Great article!
