Superstar Mariah Carey is secretly dating actor Nick Cannon, according to reports. The pair hooked up after Cannon starred in a music video for the singer's new album E=MC2, a friend tells the National Enquirer.

I agree w/ you overcomer. Who really cares. I'll admit to my liking to know what's going on w/ the entertainers behind closed doors. But, I don't take what I hear and read as the gospel. Nor do I make judgements b/c I don't know them personally. PureSexyness2008, I'm curious to know why you say Mariah can do better. I don't recall hearing any negative things about Nick in tabloids nor from reputable sources. Mariah has/had issues ranging from mental to self esteem (she disclosed this herself). Mariah is biracial & is considered African American due to one parent being of this race. I've never heard her say the following, but in following her career, I, along w/ others I don't know feel: she is African American when it benefits her. When her music isn't at the top, she ALWAYS seem to team up w/, well....you take a guess. Of course biracial people do identify w/ one side more than the other. This is normal. Pls Don't misunderstand anything I've said. I pointed out the above to support my wanting to know why Nick isn't good enough for her. He has a stable career in acting and music, his own tv show, etc. Personally, I'd like to see him w/ someone else if if fact they are messing around.
