Eastwood Feels Lucky With Sixth 'Dirty Harry' Film

Clint EastwoodVeteran actor/director Clint Eastwood is resurrecting the Dirty Harry franchise with the series' first film in 20 years. On Tuesday, studio executives at Warner Brothers revealed the 77-year-old legend will direct and star in Gran Torino. No further details were released, other than the project has a December release date penciled in.

..I hope he goes the "big production format" rather then the formula budget "cheapo" flick. This is prob.his last Dirty Harry so for gawd sakes make it something memorable. Something that atleast stands next to the first DH movie.

Clint Eastwood, is one of the better people in Hollywood it seems. He was a cool actor and now a talented film director!.Liked his movie Million Dollar Baby.

What and ugly title for a movie and ugly car the Grand Torino was one of fords wwwwwwwworst production models. This does not bode well for the movie. Clint take a break think it over your beginning to shrival for ideas.

Clint still has class and an eye for realism. Of course, it's pretty hard to make something that compares to the first DH back in 71 as that broke ground in so many ways. I've been a fan of Clint since I can remember....man would I love to write a screenplay for him! As for age, of course he's getting old, we're all getting old, but it certainly hasn't stifled his skills in the past. It's a shame that many folk do not realise how influential the DH movies were on ALL of our adventure/hero/action movies. He is one great star/skilled actor/director. All the best from downunder!
