Hollywood isnt about creating genuine movie stars anymore. they just want to wash rinse and repeat a bunch of lame no names on reality shows.

If I were to invest any monies or try to produce a movie project I would stay away from Marion Cotillard. Yes she just won a golden boy for La Vie en Rose but after her interview with a French magazien where she made these statements I doubt many would want to buy a ticket. For those who are not familiar with the interview....read on.
Marion Cotillard believes 911 happened as a result of economic development for New York City."" I think we're lied to about a number of things," Cotillard said, singling out the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center as an example of the US making up horror stories for political ends.
She added that the towers, planned in the early Sixties, were an outdated "money-sucker" that would have cost more to modernise than to rebuild altogether, which is why they were destroyed.
She said: "It was a money-sucker because they were finished, it seems to me, by 1973, and to re-cable all that, to bring up-to-date all the technology and everything, it was a lot more expensive, that work, than destroying them."
She also believes the astrnauts walking on the moon was a hoax.
In short. The United States flew its own planes into the WTC rather than go threw the decades of legal hassels of condeming the two buildings. Whether or not the woman belives this tripe is one thing ...to announce it to the world should be career ending.

Yea, I agree with you absolutely regarding Marion Cottilard. You can not trust to these french.As for the astrnauts walking on the moon was a hoax?it`s 'standard' created by Russians, they still are envy that could not get Moon. By the way where is their Gagarin? French actress Juliett Binoch(or Binosh for her performance in the 'English Patient')more believes to Iranians than Americans. But it is up to them.It is already said about Paris: There were used to live the French. They have already problems with the arab and africans emigrants inside of FRANCE.By teh way, France was among with USSR who gaev support to this Iranian Teacher of Revolution Aittala Hammenei,and still because of it teh world today is going to go wild.The french always create problems inside of Europe among with the Germanians, but the Germanians have the X@@##! to fight,as for the French tehy always asking for help the British or American or others.
As for Mr. Rubinov: I will dont surprise- 2 years ago he was producer of teh revolutionay movie which failed, thanks God! Are you, Mr. Rubinov, belong to Russian nationality? We see today that Hollywood is full of these Russians who dreams to make America red communist country. What he knows about the Hollywood Culture? Who he is? The man who has money but can not chose any normal story to make good movie.
And lets he will stop to talk about Nicole Kidman. She is Kidman, and he is just someone Rubinov(temporary, I beleive!)

there has to be more substantial roles as well as substantial actresses to "act" in them. The movies lack freshness and originality as of late.( standard straight to video material).

I agree the present top leading ladies are not doing so well. I think that jennifer Aniston is under rated she is a great comedy actress, I also liked and bought Derailed. My prediction is that the other women will bounce back in late 2008.
