Looking at his filmography, a lot of Pitt's films are forgettable (except his hotness in Thelma & Louise..LOL).

What about Legends of the Fall? Pitt was great in that movie. There were scenes in that movie that were so heart felt.

It is a hard choice to make between all his good films. I liked him in "Snatch" as well as in "Legend of the Falls", other great films are "The Devil`s Own", "Spy Game", "Seven Years in Tibet", "12 Monkeys", "The Assassination..."... I didn`t like "Mr and Mrs Smith" nor "The Mexican", it was not his kind of stuff. I almost hated him in "California", which ensured me of his acting qualities. I hope there will be many, many more great movies!

I agree to date Jesse James is the best,but would have put Babel and River Runs through it next, He too good looking and a great humanitarian to dwell on his bad movies :)

What really astounds me is that there was no mention of Brad's geatest film...Legends Of The Fall. I have been a big fan for a long time. I don't believe there's another in movies that can display the emotions that Brad Pitt emulates.

I would think Kalifornia was one of Pitts great films in that he had me so scared and so repulsed, Now that is acting. The film may not have been the best, but to convey the downright psychopathyology of the character so convincingly was frightening.
I like most of what Brad does. He has proven he is not just a pretty face, but can tackle a miriad of characters equally well.

I am so glad I'm not the only one that feels that way about Legends of the fall. That was the best of them al (for me atleast). The raw emotions he showed can only be done by a great actor!

Legends of the Fall is a movie I've watched more times than I can remember and will watch again. The emotional intensity Brad displayed represents some of the most awesome acting I've ever witnessed. After Legends I would have to say Seven, then Thelma & Louise. I thought Troy was actually well done. I've watched it also several times, although I think I'm done with this one. Unfortunately, I am no longer a fan since Brad hooked up w/AJ. His beautiful children are innocent by-products of a woman I believe to be disgustingly selfish and self-absorbed. I find it reprehensible that she CHOOSES to keep these babies from their grandfather who has made it clear how desperately he wants to be in their lives. and Brad CHOOSES to allow AJ to keep his own parents from playing a larger part in their grandchildren's lives as well.

Disagree! First of all I love Troy and I thought Brad was great as Aquiles.Brad was able to bring Aquiles to life as a very unique and great warrior. Look at that style of fighting! And I love his crazy self when he is calling out Eric Banas . And why is there no mention of 'Legends of the Falls'. That is my favorite Brad Pitt movie! Brad demonstrates such a range of emotions in this film. He is 'irresistible', fierce, insane, and always charming'. He is gorgeous in Legends of the Falls. That is my favorite Brad Pitt look! No wonder the women could never forget him. There are so many favorite scenes there: the scene were he is ready to kiss his brothers fiancee...when he kills the enemy and scalps them and is in the tent looking totally insane, the scene where he is crying at his brother's grave, his passionate scene, his playful scenes with his brother, ...Legends of the Falls is a 'must see' for every Brad Pitt fan! This man wins many awards in many of our hearts!

well to be honest im in to good lookin screen guys but brad pitt is just one that i dont love but far out he was awesome in fight club that pretty boy went out the door. Loved the accent in snatch and really like his early film accross te tracks

Brad has humor and sincerety. He is humble yet michevious. As an actor his charisma comes through no matter what he is trying to do. I adored Troy, and having been a fan of both books it was adapted from,and yes it was two, I thought it was wonderful. Fight Club was amazing, played perfectly. Legends of the Fall, incredible. No flaw in his performance there. Babel was incredible, I believe his best. He has worn so many hats as an actor, the true test of talent. Aside from his astonishing good looks, and they ARE astonishing, his willingness to adopt children to be with the woman he loves and to begin a family of their own, true commendable character comes through. They have helped so many people that I am humbled by their acts. I am eager to see his next film, no matter what it is. He is a joy to watch, and entertains always.

I think Brad Pitt was astounding in Legends of the Fall. I also loved him in Fight Club and Interview of the Vampire, Tom Who? Aside from being absoltely gorgeous, he is a wonderful actor who can portray many different characters. I don't think that he gets the recognition he so rightly deserves. Although some may disagree, I love that he is with Angelina Jolie. They mesh so well together and their daughter is so beautiful. I never understood why he was with Jennifer Aniston to begin with.... Just my opinion.

Pitt is good in everything he does. My personal favorite was the role he played in 12 Monkeys. He studied and got the act down perfect. I say this based on my 35+ years of work in the mental health field. I also liked Seven however Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacy stole the show there. Snatch was great as well. There are too many to mention. I am also very happy for Brad and Angie and there loving brood..

yikes, that article is off. you cant give him a best three. but as for the worst three, definately dont see it. i would put the oceans movies, or more approprately babel(what WAS that?) before troy. i dont agree with the article as a whole. he has the pretty boy image, but unlike some (matthew mcconaughey) he is truly a great actor too.

How can you not mention Legends of the Fall? Brad as Triston? He was fabulous!
He should have got an oscar!
A River Runs Through It is also,I agree, one of his best.
I wish he had more movies where he had to dance like he did in A River Runs Through It!
Benjamin Button is great!
