As a paying customer and a rare film goer, I tend to be very choosy on the films I deem to watch.
I saw this film last week and was throughly absorbed in it. I have to admit it that it took some sorting out; it is not the type of film that you let wash over you like the ordinary inane bunkum. With this film you need to engage the brain, it takes you beyond the purlieu and captures the attention.
I for one was mesmerised and thrilled with the sense, pace and outcome of the film.
The actors were particularly skilled and plausible, especially Bill Hurt, who has a presidential manner about him.
As with most things in life it is horses for courses. I seldom listen to critics because I am an individual with my own tastes and my own mind, I do not need someone to make it for me.
The only way to find out if you like it is to watch it yourself.
My rating personally is 9 out of 10.
I hope you enjoy it as much as me.
