What? This movie did not even come close to feeling authentic, suspenseful or fun. The best part is Liberty's head rolling and you can see that for free in the commercial. While this had the potential to be a super-intense, fantastic, "OMG! kind of movie, it just wasn't. I don't understand how this movie is getting good reviews. If you've ever seen a REALLY good monster movie, you'd know this is not one of them. Although the monster looked great (the few times you got to see it) I thought it had way more bark than bite, and the rest of the movie was crap. I can't believe how stupid and uninteresting the main characters were. If you cut out all their parts that don't include the monster (about 95% of the movie), you wouldn't miss anything important. I honestly didn't give a rat's butt what happened to them. And I wasn't on the edge of my seat for a single moment (and I love monster movies). I hate when they try to put a love story in a monster movie shell.
