The problem with Grey's Anatomy is the cast is over bloated at best. We now have 14 cast members. The final episode actually had the unneeded plot device of Rose having more time onscreen than Sandra Oh's wonderful Christina. We don't get any time with our favorite characters anymore and too much time getting to know new ones I don't care about. Meredith and Derek are the signature couple. They have a massive fanbase and whether this writer wants to jump on the "hate the lead and the lead couple" bandwagon, the sentiment is not shared by fans who are up in arms over again bringing in a poorly written plot device as a cheap form of drama. Lose the HUGE cast so we can go back to telling the "original interns story" Fix your lovely key couple of Mer/Der and no longer cheapen them by bad scenes and horrible plot device love triangles and stop all the characters breaking up, divorcing, dying or being unhappy and things will be better. Grey's ratings dropped this year and the show ended on another sad/unhappy note. Shonda Rhimes needs to lose the ego and figure out what made her show such a charming, funny and interesting show in the first two seasons. The writers no longer get nominated for awards, the ratings have dropped and fans are angry. Either Shonda fixes these things or this show will die the same tragic death half of Meredith's family did last season. I'm not sure this writer was watching what the rest of us were this season because he doesn't seem to get it.

I kind of agree with the writer- it hurt watching pompeo break up with him again- only cause she looked a bit constipated in the whole "i swear ive said these lines before..."
break up the couple and toss in a bi-curious dr. hahn
also- more chandra wilson. now please.

Ok! I've had enough! If Derek and Mer break up one more time I am going to stop watching this show. Its starting to get like a soap opera and I for one am tired of it. This season has sucked hard so far and I'm really thinking about just switching to A&E and watching the first 48 after Ugly Betty instead of this crap! And what is this George and Izzy junk..........thin it out or build it up just don't leave it hang for six episodes and then lay waste to it in 10 minutes with a few bad lines and a badly written plot that leaves viewers to look at each and say "did they just"! If these writers don't do something soon then I feel Grey's will at best have one more season and then that will be it. Fans are getting very tired of this show and it has become an hour of not entertainment but of the viewer wondering how they will be lead on and then have to wait another week(or possibly more) to find out what happens in the end. ABC clean it up or cancel it cause this in one fan who has nearly had enough!1

Really, who cares! I lost interest after last season's "letdown" melodramtic messy plots. I've tried to (unsuccesfully) become a devoted viewer this year, but to me, this year's been a bust too. I watch CSI now, most of the time, and realize how much I have missed the characters on that show. I'm not giving up entirely on "Grey's"--I did enjoy watching Bailey's grief and guilt riddden moments after her son was injured in an accident, but the writers need to start doing something interesting with Meredith and McDreamy---separate or apart. If they don't I don't see myself returning on a week to week basis. Too predictable!

it is so boring to wait for a real season ending. what is going on with derek?he becames an arrogant who didn't care enough about his presumably love, it sucks!Everyone died, and nothing happy really take places here, so i guess could happen a serie without to much tragedy!it is the easy way...what´s a pity!

OMG i hate christina and im so happy that han doesn't like her i mean come on i hope she diggs a grave ad dies. Izzie love her even though she was a X@@##! to callie but George was so not worth it, i loved her and alex and what would be even better would be her and slone just cause the model and the hottie. Merideth and Derek while we all have the same opinion we love them but rose is cute to and i think Derek should ive her a chance mabey it will another christina ad burke but rose will leave becuse she thiks derek is still in love with merideth and the fact that merideth went running into the chapel and said i object. finally George i find him like a puppy so cute and inosent but izzie is WAY WAY WAY WAY out of his leauge.

i completely agree with utjj99. If Derek n Mer break up again, i'm gonna stop watching. Started watching in Season 1 becoz i love that couple n the original casts. Add in extra n extra, it's just confusing n heading no where with the characters not having any fixed mind about who to love. There is obviously no happy ending in life... McDreamy n McSteamy are merely anybody will do characters, instead of matured surgeons.

Cristina added fun to the series with her crisp dry comments. George from season 1 looks a mixture of ineffectual with the shifty eyes and weak expressions and then suddenly he had some personality change. Then suddenly he was this firm decision-making strong guy. Talk of split personality. Izzie is lovely to watch but very shrieky sometimes, and not as good an actor as Sandra and Ellen. The couple Burke and Cristina made a wonderful foil for the other couple, MerDer. Burktina added balance and fun and gave character to the show with their fidelity and teething problems. That was the charm 'n fun and difference in the show. With season 3 it got depressing. Shonda decided to get rid of Burke when she shot him and left him unable to perform surgery. That was his cue for exit and Cristina is freefalling. Where's the damn fun and romance Shonda ? At least we had one 'happy couple' to watch with Burktina but now that has also gone. Joy and romance has gone from the show, Cristina stopped being funny with the advent of Burke...no, from when he was shot. George and Izzie have never had any sense of humour so that's out too. Bummer. Bore. After Burke was shot down the show was too....lol Show needs surgery, need to graft IW back, Shonda.
