Indeed, we should all chip in and "Give a little or give what you can afford". Although, they won't admit a little goes a long way. Those poors kids and late teens are terribly suffering, in particular those with cancer in the brain. It's unfair to them of course, but we as wonderful people can help pave the way for an unexpected New beginning.I 'm donating my first $130 before the New year. How about you cats..Have a heart, and truly help and try to save a beautiful childs life..Happy Holidays to you all.

I agree that people should give generously to good causes during the holiday season and all times of the year.
When Danny Thomas was alive, I was a great supporter of St. Jude Hospital. St. Jude is my favorite saint and I would contribute to this cause numerous times a year.
Once Marlo Thomas took over as spokeswoman, I wroter the organization a letter--stating that as long as Marlo Thomas represents St. Jude Hospital, I could not support them.
I do not understand how a person can be compassionate about children and march for abortion. The life of an unborn child does not count??????
I did receive a letter from a St. Jude Hospital representative, stating that they could not control the thoughts of their spokesperson. I decided to contribute to another children's charity, much to my disappointment.
One of my favorites is the Smile Train. For $250 you can change the life of a precious child. Really I am doing what Ms Thomas said donating to charity.
