Tom Cruise is to play Playboy boss Hugh Hefner in a new biopic, according to reports. The star is Hefner's favorite to portray him, and Cruise is said to be very interested in the controversial role.

Tom Cruise is the kiss-of-death for anything he is associated with. He jumped the shark on Oprah's couch and never recoverd. if he plays Heff he is just going to ruin another good story. He should just take some time off, and maybe plan for a comeback around 2025 or so. IMO, he is all done..

I think Tom Cruise is the last person that should play Hugh Hefner. Hugh Hefner is a free spirit and a creative spirte. Tom Cruise is an idiot.
