The headline and intro say that it's an interview with Jerry Minor, a comedic actor, but it's really a Quantum Leap/Star Trek fan fiction. Scott Bakula and Picard battle it out on the deck of the Enterprise!

Wow, that's cool that he was doing parody songs "before 'Weird Al' Yankovic"...even though Al had already released his first two singles years before "Little Red Corvette" or the "1999" album had even come out, but who's counting?

Actually, Weird Al's first album was released in 1983, although he made his radio debut on the Dr. Demento Show in 1976, but those were just some songs he sent in on a tape, which included My Bologna. Prince's 1999 was released in 1982, 1 year prior to Weird Al's eponymous debut. So, he was not extremely well known prior to his 1st album so it's more than likely that Jerry wasn't aware of Weird Al's existence at the time. Regardless, he was making a point about his creativity as a child and not divulging some sort of secret feud between himself and Weird Al.
