Movie Remakes: 'Heartbreak Kid' Fails While Others Have Succeeded

The Heartbreak KidThe Heartbreak Kid, the latest collaboration between Ben Stiller and the Farrelly brothers, debuted in second place this past weekend with a modest $14 million haul at the box office. The last Stiller-Farrelly project, 1998's There's Something About Mary, pulled in $176.5 million that year.

There are remakes as seen in all the sequeals this summer and then there are remakes that really you have to be told yea that a remake because the remake as enough of changes to it that it takes on a identidy of it own . In all the remake mentioned above they are we good all the Ocean 11 and the Departed they took on there owen idenity. I have some reservation on calling then remakes for that reason. My most famous emake or based on movie was the Magnificent Seven wtih Yule Breener and Steve McQueen which was based on the Seven Samarki .
