I have been waiting all summer for the fall series to get here. I can't wait for Friday Night Lights to come back with new shows. I could watch them every night. The hour passes too fast. I guess you can tell I love the show. When I was in school, I was in the band and got to go to all the football games. Our town was small and when we had out of town games, the whole town went (just about). There would be the football bus, the pep squad bus and 2 band busses, and a long line of cars with school colored streamers flying from the cars, and the busses and everyone singing and yelling. The town would look like a ghost town. The ones who did stay behind would hang around the town square waiting for the buses/cars to return so they would know the outcome of the game. If you came into town honking and yelling, you won and were shouting out the score, if all was quiet, well you lost the game. I still love high school football and I am about to turn 61 years old. My sister who is 69 also watches FNL and we both love the show. That is 1 show we never miss. Thank you for bringing back the show for another season and I hope I can say this for many more seasons. I also want to say THANKS for the prayers at the beginning and during halftime. That is the way it was and its great to see that again. You have a great show thank you to each of you for making it that way.
