Soul superstar Amy Winehouse turns "violent and abusive" after too much alcohol and often attacks new husband Blake Fielder-Civil. The singer admits she becomes aggressive after drinking alcohol and uses her husband as a "punch-bag" - but insists she is "not a fighter."

isn't if strange that we look so humourously at the abuse men face at the hands of women as opposed to the seriousness of it when it when roles are reversed?
ANY kind of abuse is never acceptable and yes, Miss Winehouse needs some help in managing her aggression just as any other person...
Doesn't she realise that there are woman out there who fear the physical abuse from their partners and don't need or want to hear that suddenly a woman physically abusing a man is acceptable because it ISN'T!

julie564 so true....If I were her husband I would give her the choice, get help, get off the alcohol, or get out of my life... My ex-husband had that choice, he left, but at least my kids and I are safe...

just as women call the cops when being abused then he should man up and call the cops to save her.
she needs a wake up call. and bragging about it and analyzing it to spin it so she accepts what she is doing is disgraceful.
where are her record labels, family and friends on this behavior or does she kick the X@@##! out of them too?
