Paula AbdulAmerican Idol producers came close to firing judge Paula Abdul earlier this month and wanted to offer her job to Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson. Tensions on the set of the hit TV show were running high, and producers were considering firing the former singer for her erratic behavior.

OMG Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears?? Give me a break..American Idol would not be the same after all these years without Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon ....I'd quit watchging it.
