How big of a deal could 5% be to Wolf? He's making a chunk off that whole franchise! They are worth it - give it to them!

Seeming that the actors, actresses are the ones who have made the show one of the most watched prime time shows in network history (which in turn brought in the advertisers who are willing pay large sums of money to advertise during the shows time block), it would seem the only sensible thing to do is to give them a raise for their superb skills and viewer appeal. Alas this will probably just be another blunder by the high payed executives at NBC (whom can keep giving themselves raises) and those at Wolf films.
WAY TO GO GUYS!

I watch CI because of Vincent D'Onofrio and Katherine Erbe. Those two make it CI. Mr. Wolf has nothing to do with the success of that show. He should be grateful for those two. Pay up. You already have plenty of money.

Don't mean to be a naysayer, but didn't it say in the trades that Wolf had to make some sort of special deal with NBC just to keep CI and the original on the air for the fall? The ratings have not been stellar. It seems to me that this is a business and bringing in ratings is part of an actor's job. Why should they demand to be rewarded for not performing that duty well?
As far as what "cbelle" said about Wolf having "nothing to do" with the success of the show, well, I guess you don't count being the creator of the program, the showrunner and the driving creative force behind it as important to the success or failure of a series. Do you think the actors just get up in front of the cameras and improvise a story? Do you think Donofrio was solely responsible for creating his character? Yup, there are no writers or producers ever involved in what you see on television. That's right, the actors do it all. They don't need anyone's help because all actors are creative geniuses.
I don't think I've ever been that sarcastic in my life. But seriously people, let's grow up and think a little. Wolf is the important one here. The original L&O didn't need any one specific cast member to be entertaining. I think it would be a mistake to think this one does. If anything, Donofrio puts a lot of people off with his chewing of scenery.

Given them the damn money! I watch the show for Vincent and Katherine. Both are great actors and of all the shows I like Criminal Intent the best. Excellent show -- great story lines. Superb acting. Wouldnt be anything without the right actors.
Pay them and keep the show on.
