I hated this movie; it was too hyper and there was never any explanation for Edith's relationships. We never knew what motivated her. For 2 1/2 hours, we were stuck with shallowness, and listened to screaming, yelling and crying. And watched some seriously bad and obnoxious overacting and facemaking by Ms. Cotillard and her street-life useless buddy. It was painful.
