Verizon Drops Akon Sponsorship After Raunchy Dance

AkonCommunications firm Verizon have ended their deal with R&B singer Akon following his raunchy dance with a 14-year-old girl. Verizon had been promoting the Smack That hitmaker as a featured artist in their ringtone service, aimed predominantly at the youth market. They were also sponsors of his tour with Gwen Stefani.

Yes! I agree that examples needs to be set, but she had no right to be in a club that is suppose to be for 18 and above.

I see he thought that she was atleast 18 since thats what is set by LAW! The club should of checked and her dad let her! I was really mad at first until I read this if you go where it says atleast 18 then you think people cant get in unless they are 18! I'm glad they did this to him if he was guilty but it looks like her dad and the club are the cause! Try and dance with your people since this has happend. As much as I hate to say it he doesn't seem to be at fault!
