James Franco Tries To Apologize To Tyrese Gibson

James Franco is blaming the extreme lengths he goes to to tackle a role on the bust-up that cost him his friendship with Annapolis co-star Tyrese Gibson. The star blasted Franco in a Playboy interview in February, insisting he'd never work the super-serious actor again after falling out with him on the set of Annapolis.

u both must be freakin nuts!what the heck r u both smoking! he was in character for a movie and Mr. Tyrese Gibson needs to take a few more acting classes. I have meet Mr. gibson once in L.A. and I can tell u at the time he was one of my fave stars, but after meeting him I wouldnt even give up my drop of water in my glass if he was on fire! Can we say STUCK UP SNOB!

I knew this was the reason for all the hatin'!
Tyrese didn't understand Method Acting. Not that I endorse it but if that's what Franco does, then it is what it is - trying to go for reality instead of REEL life! Tyrese never went into detail about his complaint so I dismissed it. No detail, no story. James tried to make good, doesn't want to make enemies - was just doing his job as an actor for REALISM - and Tyrese didn't like it. Simple as that.
James, don't sweat the small stuff.
Tyrese, you both need to just move on.

I just saw Annapolis today(3rd time). I was raving about how good the movie was and I hated the fact that I didn't see it on the big screen. I didn't know there was a beef going on between the two actors but guys get it together and move on. Tyrese played the role to a tee, not to mention, the brother looked good in a uniform. Franco was good also. So, like I said, get it together, take a deep breath, let by gones be by gones and continue to excell.
