Snoop Dogg Defines 'Hoes', Calls For Imus To Go

Rapper Snoop Dogg has dismissed comparisons between sexist hip hop lyrics and the recent racist remarks made by American radio DJ Don Imus. Imus was suspended by CBS Radio and MSNBC on Monday after he referred to the Rutgers University women's basketball team as 'nappy-headed hoes' - a racially charged sexist term.

You know, It's idiots like this that just p*$ses me off! He can refer to women as "Bi%$h's & hoes" so long as that's how he feels in his "soul" when he singing a song. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with Imus either, but I've heard enough crap from idiots that want to cause a big stink because another idiot didn't know when to shut up. But having this jerk who is constantly in trouble for one reason or another now tell us he wants Imus fired for running his big mouth is just going a little too far. I wish we could fire rappers who can't go from one town to another without getting locked up (or shot up) because of drugs!

I so agree with all of you. Snoop also made a race- comment about a white, but we will do nothing! Either we all deal with the potty talk or we dont let anyone do it, then we dont have these problems. Kids wouldn't talk like that if they didn't hear it either! It's not ok for anyone to say so if no one says it then we wont have these typs of problems.

A ho really doesn't have a different meaning. The word means the same thing. When Snoop says "ho" in music he's right there with Imus. He's being a hypocrite.

Snoop is Dumb! So dumb that he should run for president. What he should have said was "Imus is wrong. And I'm wrong also. So I'm going to stop."
But it's up to us the consumer to NOT BUY HIS MUSIC if he doesn't! We don't have to spend our money on artist who think like him. I bet if a female made a song about degrading a male black or white they won't play it on the radio! No MTV for her! sexist pigs!
