The abusive cult of Scientology sells this same scam to its victims (aka "members") except they call it the Purification Rundown. The Church of Scientology front group, Narconon (no not Narcotics Anonymous (NA), but the scamming knock-off that Scientology runs), also uses this same unproven "detox program" that was created by the very bad science fiction author and college flunk-out L. Ron Hubbard.

Let me make sure I understand the problem:
PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THIS PROCEDURE LOVE IT.
PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T DONE THE PROCEDURE DON'T LIKE IT.
Is this correct?

There are numerous folks that have undergone the Purification Rundown that haven't liked it at all. There have been a number of cases where people have even sued Scientology to get the $20,000 plus that they paid for the completely unproven treatment.
What you are talking about is anecdotal evidence. In order to prove a treatment is efficacious you need to undergo rigorous scientific tests. In the case of the "detox program" created by the sci-fi author L. Ron Hubbard, the treatment offers dangerous doses of Niacin that the Surgeon General of the U.S. has stated are enough to cause liver damage. Drinking fat and sitting in saunas doesn't make glass shards pop out of your pores like Scientology proclaims. It is pure unadulterated fraud.
The Church of Scientology is a cult of greed and power and they are again sacrificing people's health to promote another dangerous treatment. See what Scientology's medical beliefs did to Elli Perkins. Read up at http://PerkinsTragedy.org
Elli is dead because of the Church of Scientology recommended unproven medical treatments.
The whole thing is buyer beware. Read up about Scientology before you try this dangerous treatment offered by a greedy cult.

People who have done the procedure know what its done for them. The reality level is much higher on the improvements in their well being etc
Someone who knows nothing about it, doesn't want to know and just critizes it because they are bias or have a vested interested in other philosophies is not worth listening to
Would you take advice from someone who confesses to know nothing about something but advises you on it anyway.

People who have done the procedure and liked it, are just plain lucky. Lucky they "felt" better (who doesn't after a month of saunas....) and lucky they are alive. For every person that doesn't die or get violently and dangerously ill after treatment, there are still those who do. Don't hear much about them from Scientology - but you can definitely find them if you care to look.
I will take advice from someone, but it is ONLY myself I will trust in, only MY faith that I will believe in. If scientology works for you and you can afford to be a member, then go for it. If you have family and friends who don't believe - be prepared to never see or have anything to do with them again....as that is the Scientology way....
