yap! i perfectly understand why he cant still forgive patric. why,there's nothing more devastating than your good friend and your loved one playing sweet music together,without you knowing it. it had happened to me and i really dont know when i can forgive my friend. i may probably forgive but forget, i dont know if i can. i just cant imagine if i am a celebrity like kiefer sutherland. i mean everybody knows what happened to him. so,it served julia right that she never had good relationships after that. and kiefer never deserved a woman like her who had very unstable emotions when he seems to be a serious guy.

Well, this guy is really a fantastic person. He suffered a serious disappointment, but after all, he goes on with a great spiritual behavior. I think that that experience was useful for his growing up as human being. Julia was not wrong when left him, but running away with Jason Patrick was her worst mistake in this love story.
I suppose that she feels a big regret for her dirty behavior, and yes, she never had good relationships ( Kiefer didn´t have anyone too) after this mess. The difference between Kiefer and Julia is: He always recognized his fails, he is a simple and honest person, but she hides her true feelings and face for the press and fans. I´m a huge Kiefer´s fan since his old movies and now as Jack Bauer´s character, I simply adore him. For all this reasons that I commented , I don´t like this lady.
Once time I saw in a interview that someone (I didn´t remember) said about Kiefer Sutherland: He is an old spirit.
I agree. It doesn´t matter if he, sometimes, not seem so perfect for the midia and tabloids, because to me, he is a wonderful guy.

The way I understand it - he had an affair with Amanda Rice, (while he was engaged to Julia Roberts)- that is definately a reason to call the wedding off.
