Tim Allen, please do me a favor:
Either learn how to use the brakes, or don't ride at all because if you want to "lay it down", you guarranty yourself to get hurt or killed. Oh, I forgot, Harley Davidson motorcycles don't have brakes worth of crap, so laying it down is the only way.

Tim, go take a few motorcycle safety course classes. The point is to learn how NOT to drop your bike, not how to do it. Pure ignorance.

Tim -
Let me ask you a question -
Which do you think will stop faster -
a 800 piece of metal (chrome) sliding down the road?
Or a 800 piece of metal with rubber wrapped around it sliding down the road?
Bikes stop faster when on their tires than when on their sides -
there is like 1 place where laying down a bike is better than stopping, swerving or evading - and that would be something like sliding it under a semi truck that broadsided in front of you.
You would learn in safety classes to AVOID an accident not to slide into one.

Or you could buy a real bike that handles and has decent brakes.
