It's certainly off to a superb start;here's hoping that the positive momentum continues,Chelsea. I was especially amused at the line "Is there such a thing as an Ugly Visitor?" from Wolf's Chad Decker,a tongue-in-cheek reference to ABC's(and most TV networks, for that matter)propensity for photogenic casting.

Viewers in Wisconsin, Chicago and Tennessee could not see the premier because the local affiliates (WBAY, WKRN, WGBY) pre-empted V for local sports shows!
Is this coordinated censorship of a great show or what

@apostate - I laughed at Wolf's line too, and I also liked Anna's response 'you're not so bad yourself.' He was right, aliens with a sense of humor. Another reason they're very alluring, right?
@anonymous - Oh that's awful to hear. I'm sad for everyone who missed the premiere, and it would be harsh on the ratings too. I hope they put it on the site fast for you!

The SyFy network aired the 1983 mini-series in anticipation of ABC's TV show. I had to watch and draw comparisons to the mini-series. There are a few twists but I know one thing for certain; I'm watching next week.

I liked it but agree that it wasn't necessary to already see the bad side of V in the premier episode-third or fourth would have been great. I liked the idea of V who want to stay with humans-it will be interesting to see how that turns out, especially the "being in love" aspect and whether V are capable of loving as humans think of that emotion. Couldn't help but think "Bailey!" on seeing Scott Wolf--he looks good!

@anonymous - I saw the SyFy marathon, it was pretty wonderful. The old series was solid, but I'm excited for this one.
@Anonymous2 - I think they were rushing it because they were only showing us the first four episodes of the show. Scott Wolf DOES look good. He's aged well.

Is it me, or what.....When I first watched V, I thought I was watching Michael J Fox.... It's uncanny to me, how much they look alike... Paul
