Very nice! Thank you for the interview! Which album are you most proud of? I'm afraid that question strikes me as.... well, it's like asking which of your children is your favorite. o_0 They have every right to be proud of all their work, because of all of it is amazing and has it's importance. And the True Blood question-- the book series... I forget what the actual book series is called, but it's quite... erm... intense. But I've always thought it neat that the main Vampire in the story was named Bill. Wonder what Bill would think of that. XD

I like Adam & I like Tokio Hotel. I don't know how long Adam has been in music or how long he has been wearing makeup, etc., but Bill started at about age 10. It takes real guts for a kid that age to stand out that much. And he's been in German Vogue twice and made #11 on Germany's list of best-dressed men.

i don't know why people are hating on either adam or tokio hotel....like adam started dying his hair and wearing makeup in highschool....which was like 10 years ago...so bill was like 10....so he couldn't have copied bill....like i love tokio hotel like more than anything...but i highly highly doubt adam's stealing bill's style

Adam has actually cited Bill as his "hair inspiration" on AI, so I don't think anyone is out of line for thinking Bill had something to do with it ;) Everyone gets inspiration from somewhere, usually many places, it's not a bad thing and I'm sure Adam is no different.
This is a really great interview, though, thank you so much! I'm sure a lot of people were happy you asked about True Blood :D

Thanks for posting the interview. It sounds like the band is really geared up for the world tour. It's good to know that they don't let the record company rush them or tell them how to do their own music. Like anyone can tell Bill what to do. LOL.
Honesty, I don't know why people want to make such a big fuss over who stole who's style. They both do what they want when they want and that's it. Just because they look similar doesn't mean anyone is stealing anything.

I love both Bill and Adam but just because they wear eyeliner and dark colors, does not mean they have the same style. Adam has a more mature glam style imo. Also, he changes it up more than Bill does. They both rock!

Adam picked up his look in 2003 while on tour with Hair, the Musical in Germany. Tokio Hotel wasn't out and about in the media until 2005.

For those who say that Adam came with this look first and Bill copied him, you people are hilarious. I saw pics of Adam, where he has a ginger hair and no make-up nor style. Bill started doing this when he was 12, he is 20 now, quite some time. Adam mentioned Bill in an interview as his hair and style inspiration himself. Ummm...I don't know why everyone's focusing on the Adam Lambert thing when it's clear the writer was just trying to stir the pot a little. Honestly, it's a non-issue. I like both TH and Adam Lambert and I doubt they really care who did what look first or whatever else inconsequential BS like that.

Why all the Bill hating around? He was pretty polite and not even close to being arrogant when he answered that question, and what would you answer if you will be cornered like that. Interviewer knew what he was doing and was steering the pot on the purpose. Adam and Bill two very talented individuals whom I respect a lot. Both of them. I hope that fans will be bigger than that stupid webwars around artists that media wants us to start.

Adam has been wearing makeup, painting his nails, and dyeing his hair since he was 20, so for seven years. Bill says he's been doing that since he was 12, so for 8 years. I doubt either knew who the other one was when they started doing this. Other than the fact that they wear eyeliner, have black hair, and wear black nail polish, I don't think their style is similar at all. A lot of goth kids do those things too. I saw the interview with Adam regarding Bill and I do remember him saying Bill was his hair idol, but I think he was referring to Bill's hair's ability to defy gravity. Other than the color their hairstyle isn't alike at all. I think Adam is supportive of Tokio Hotel based on comments he's made and Bill is doing his best to answer an idiot question here, so I think fans should take a page out of their book and respect both artists.

Way to set off the Lambert fans. XD If Adam had any feminine qualities, he would qualify as androgynous. Unfortunately, he just looks like a dude sporting make-up to get attention. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, just that he's far from being androgynous.
Bill is a style icon. Not only Adam gets his fashion tip from him, but also Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, and Beyonce have been seen wearing similar outfits as Bill's after he's been in public wearing them.
Great music, style that big stars want to copy, stunningly gorgeous Bill, it's no wonder Europe is in love with Tokio Hotel. I feel so happy to be alive in this point in time to get to experience Tokio Hotel taking over the world.
