Telling the authorities its a mistrial is like saying something is amiss, if they cannot do justice in the Bahamas the next place is Florida where friends and foes probably will run with it, whatever will hear the proceedings out will be pertinent or appro po, hope its sustainable for the top movie actor.

How many corners can one cut without being unduly sent abroad to the next specialist, like finding out you have a terminal disease and only some one in Switzerland can heal you, thought there was one book of law around here, don't want to try anyone unnecessarily as they've got their own.

I assume annon #2 is an American. We normally have the "perception", no matter how misquided, that the law is the same across the world, especially in "civilized" countries. It simply isn't true, in the US had such an incidence occurred the judge would have polled the jury, THEN made the decision and perhaps ruled the same, a mistrial. It is my hope that Mr. Travolta and his family can receive the justice they deserve. There is no way that I believe the testimony uttered by those defendants. It is inhuman to try to profit from someone else's grief. Judge Gizmo-retired.
