I like the review, but a minor correction- Dexter's realization is that he truly cares about his family and that he would rather die than hurt them. It's an important point and a difference we start to see in Dexter, that as cold-blooded as he is, the addition of this family into his life has created a reason to live, whereas before he has only had a reason to kill....
