I couldn't agree more with you,Chelsea-especially with regard to "Heroes" and "Scrubs",two shows I once enjoyed watching immensely. The ill-conceived remake of "Melrose Place" should also be on this list, though!

How many viewers are these shows actually getting?

@TheJoker - I'm glad someone still loves Scrubs!
@Apostate - Well it's pretty new, so I'm giving Melrose Place at least a season before dropping an axe on it.
@BikerChick - You can check out all the ratings on their wiki's, but most of these are at least under 10 mil.

I agree with all your choices but
I have another story for you to
consider writing. It is about the
Networks like A&E that keep repeating, and repeating, and
repeating the same old episodes, year after year and
even have marathons of them. One in particula is CSI:Miami.
They never show the rest of the
seasons and they are so boring
that I fall asleep watching them. The trouble is that the
other networks are no different
so I leave that one on as the
best of the worst. I am a Shut-In so TV is about all I
have for amusement. Talk about
a Captive Audience!

Lame.
Lame.
Lame.
Lame.
Only the original can go. I love SVU and CI.
Heroes began outstaying its welcome in season 2. I actually watched part of the "Live" lead-in party for season 3 on the night it was premiering and then ultimately decide then and there that I was done with it. Haven't seen it since. Season 2 was that bad that it totally turned me off of it. (actually the season 1 finale was what began the turnoff. It could have been a great series but they screwed it up and jumped the shark in the S1 finale.

I totally agree with you but I just love Law&Order. I know it's been on forever but I just love all the L&O shows.

I am a major Scrubs fan but I guess your right, the plot is a little played out. But it is nothing compared with Law and Order, the show barely has a plot (although it BARELY needs one) and Law and Order got pretty boring so I moved to Law and Order SVU.
But I will always be a strong L&A and Scrubs fan :)

I LOVE Law & Order, but it definitely has lost its original feel. It was hard enough when Lenny left, but Green was a likeable character who carried it along. Lupo is OK, but I could never get into Anthony Anderson playing the cop role! He's just not that kind of funny. As for the Order side, I love Jack McCoy, but its hard to have him as head DA, though I do like Linus (or whatever that new guy's name is). Alana de la Garza is all right, but when the cops aren't as likeable its hard to have chemistry with the DAs. SVU is a great show, Criminal Intent is OK. But I will always love watching the original in syndication with Lenny and Curtis or Lenny and Green and with Elizabeth Rohm and Angie Harmon as the ADAs with Jack McCoy.

@Anonymous User (I hate this option) I don't understand how you can say that Law and Order barely has a plot!

@ipsofacto - I agree completely about those constant repeats. Even shows you love start to get old.
@AgentSmith - I agree that SVU and CI are worth keeping. I just think the original has lost its mojo.
@nicerack - I understand. Secretly I haven't given up on Entourage yet either.
@Anonymous 1 - You know I thought about The Simpsons, it was in the top ten for sure, but they do try to keep it going pretty fresh by bringing in day to day things.
@anonymous2 - Oh I hear you, I loved Scrubs for so long. I don't want to lose it, but ... I have to accept it. SVU is a pretty great show, right?
@Lisalaggrrr - Oh I agree, there's no doubt about it, that show was INCREDIBLE when it first started. I completely respect Law & Order's roots, I just think it's time to give up the ghost on the original show. When SVU and CI completely surpass it, it's a problem. Or maybe they could drop the original and try out a new spin-off to make up for it.

Your so dumb it amazes me. Yes some of these shows have overstayed their welcome but shows like entourage have stayed fresh and are to this day extremely fun to watch. All shows have dry spots here and there but that does not mean they have lost the hearts of viewers.

Nonsense! Entourage is just getting better and better! it continues with new fresh storylines all the time and stays brilliant to watch, i do agree with some of the other shows you mention though, law and order and Heroes for example.
